The U7 Red team came up against some strong opposition this season and the greater speed and experience was difficult to overcome for this new team.
Having said that everyone in this team played with a smile and never gave up trying until the final whistle. The team showed real promise towards the back end of these season and if we can attract some additional players next year, this team certainly has the talent to be a contender.
Harrison and Flynn used their skill and speed to trouble the opposition and Lennix and Noah always looked dangerous when they got into space. For Jaimee-May and Ruben this was their first year of league and both adapted really well with Jaimee-May playing fearlessly at times and Ruben gaining confidence throughout the season to put on a standout performance on Match Day 10.
Many thanks to Andrew, Joel and Kylie for looking after the team this year and the players and parents really appreciated your support, encouragement and guidance over the season.
