Dear Yarrawarrah Tigers JRLFC Members and Supporters,
I am very pleased to present the 2023 Tigers Yearbook. This year has been a remarkable one for the Yarrawarrah Tigers, marked by success and community spirit.
One of the most gratifying aspects of this season was the increase in registration numbers. We saw 124 dedicated players don the black and Orange, demonstrating their commitment to the Tigers. We fielded a total of 8 teams, and this year, we proudly introduced our inaugural O35's League Tag Team.
Our Tiger Cubs program continued to thrive, with 14 eager participants who were introduced to the world of rugby league. It's heart-warming to note that several of these young Cubs graduated to play in the U6's, showing the progression and development nurtured within our club.
I want to extend my heartfelt congratulations to our U9's Bronze, U13's Bronze, and U13's Silver and O35's teams for reaching the finals. Their dedication and hard work paid off, and special commendations go to the U9's Bronze and U13's Silver for winning their respective Grand Finals.
We couldn't have achieved all this without the unwavering support of our 2023 sponsors. And here's some fantastic news to add to our list of achievements: we won the "Club of the Year" award at the Cronulla Sutherland Junior Rugby League's 60th Year Gala Dinner. This prestigious honor is a testament to the dedication and passion of everyone involved in our club.
Looking ahead to the 2024 season, I am excited about the potential increase in registration numbers and eagerly anticipate the introduction of our first girls' league tag teams. The Yarrawarrah Tigers JRLFC is more than a club; it's a family, and I can't wait to see what we can achieve together in the coming year.
