The U6 Yellow team became known as the Entertainers and for good reason. They scored tries, bags of them and always played with a smile on their face.
Anyone who watched the Yellow team this year always left the ground smiling because of the effort and commitment shown by each of the players. Charlotte, Charlize and Marley always worried the opposition with their tenacity and skill and Sonny, Jake and Kade used their speed and strength to put the defence on the back foot. We also had some important contributions from Josh who grew in confidence as the season went on.
The U6's scored an incredible 532 tries over 10 games and every player got on the score sheet this year. The team's record this year was played 10, Won 3, Drawn 3 and Lost 4 with some amazing games with the 60-56 win over Aquinas, the 44-44 draw against the Stingrays and the 80-80 draw against Gymea being the standouts.
Many thanks to Shane, Lara and David for looking after the team this year and the players and parents really appreciated your support and guidance over the season.
