U6 Blue Season Review

The U6 Blue team had a great season and played some memorable football, scoring some fantastic tries.

The team always gave their best and never stopped competing which was great to see. The boys improved as their confidence grew and their tackling got better every week. Aston and Hayden scored tries at will, Zach, Logan and Malachi tackled liked Trojans and Hendrix and Arlo used their silky skills to confuse the opposition.

The Blues scored 384 tries over 10 games and the team certainly improved as the season progressed. There were a number of standout games in the season but the narrow loss to the Sutherland Pirates in Round 4, the game against Aquinas in Round 7 and who could ever forget the 64-64 draw against Gymea in Round 10, are the games that really stand out for the team. Apart from the results, there was a lot to like this season and if the team can stick together they will be stronger for the experience and will give the competition a real shake next year.

Many thanks to Tyler, Kylie and Grant for looking after the team this year and the players and parents really appreciated your support and encouragement over the season.
