It's the penultimate weekend of the regular season and there is still a great deal to play for many Tigers teams. For some it's the dream of a Grand Final appearance at season's end, while for others it's the joy of just playing footy with their teammates every weekend.

We had 5 home games this week and welcomed the Stingrays, Joey's, Dragons, Colts and Crocs to Yarrawarrah Oval. It was another perfect spring day and we hope all visiting teams and players enjoyed their match day experience at the home of the Tigers.

U6 Blue Yarrawarrah Tigers 36 Kurnell Stingrays 60

Another great game by the Blues who came up against a determined Stingrays team. Aston Gibbons topped the try scoring charts again with another 6 tries and he was well supported by Hayden Walker who scored 3. The whole team played well today with Hendrix and Logan making some important runs and Arlo and Zac tackling strongly and playing with big smiles. Zachary May was awarded the Player of the Game for his all round effort and side-stepping and Hayden Walker was awarded the Spirit Award for helping his teammates across the park. Another good team effort and we are hoping to take the form into next weeks game and secure a win.

U6 Yellow Yarrawarrah Tigers 44 Kurnell Stingrays 44

This game had it all, great skill, tries galore and a fantastic solo try, scored by Charlotte after the bell to secure the draw. Coming into this game the Stingrays were undefeated but this didn't phase the Tigers who started strongly and matched the Stingrays try for try in the first 2 quarters. Kade Jones was awarded Player of the Game and he scored a fantastic length of the field try which was enjoyed by the home crowd. Marley Ackroyd was awarded the Spirit Award for her encouragement and general play supporting teammates. Charlotte scored 7 tries, Kade bagged a couple and Jake and Charlize both chimed in with a try each. Sonny and Jake also made some great runs and hard tackles. Another exciting game for the Tigers who continue to entertain us and play with great spirit.

U7 Red Yarrawarrah Tigers 28 Joeys 64

Another game in which the 7's were competitive and showed promise but could never get close enough to trouble the opposition. Lennix, Flynn, Harrison and Jaimee-May all scored tries this week and Noah and Ruben made some great runs but were unable to get the ball over the line. The team made some great tackles throughout the game and there was noticeable improvement in enthusiasm and commitment from all players. Lennix Ellis was awarded Player of the Game for a great try and putting in some fantastic tackles. Ruben McCarthy was awarded the Spirit Award and really stepped up his game this week.

U9 Tigers-Titans 60 Engadine Dragons 0

This was a convincing win for the merged U9's team and will give the team plenty of confidence going into next weeks 1st V 2nd game against the Como Crocs and a Grand Final appearance in 2 weeks time. The whole team was up for this game and every player made a contribution. Alexander Borg and Harlan Taylor both scored 3 tries each, Angus Wilson and Jonathon Higgans both scored doubles and Ethan Martin rounded out the scoring with a single try. The whole team played with real enthusiasm and everybody wanted to be involved, making runs, tackling or supporting teammates.

U10 Yarrawarrah Tigers 18 Aquinas Colts 34

This was a tough game for the Tigers against a very physical Colts team. The U10's were in this game for a long time and with a bit of belief, some extra enthusiasm and a bit of luck could have achieved a different scoreline. This was a tight physical contest in the first half and despite their dominance, the Colts went into the half-time break only 6 points ahead. Despite some opportunities we were unable to convert our chances and the Colts pulled away in the 3rd and 4th quarters. Zac Porter, Kai Goody and Ethan Coleman scored the Tigers tries this week and there were strong performances from Leo Giovenco and Dane Buman. Next week the Tigers meet the Gorillas for a Grand Final place against the Colts and the game should be a cracker.

U12 Silver Tigers-Bosco 22 Como Crocs 22

U12 Gold Tigers-Bosco Cronulla Caringbah (TBA)

The U12's Silver were playing at Yarrawarrah Oval and put in a fantastic performance to draw 22 all with Como. Millie Cowie had a great game scoring 2 tries and Sam Dover and Hudson Wilcox scored a try a piece. There was plenty of spirit showed by the U12's who worked for each other throughout the game and were always a threat to the Como defence. This was a great all round team performance and everybody supported each other and it showed in the U12's defence and attack which was a step up from previous weeks.

U13 Yarrawarrah Tigers 42 Aquinas Colts 12

This was a dominant performance by the U13's despite going behind early in the game. The Tigers controlled the game once they got on level terms and the whole team looked to get involved and make a contribution on the pitch. Fintan Kelly scored 3 tries, that's 8 against Aquinas at their home ground. The other scorers this week included Alex, Kobi, Zinzan and Albie. The pick of the tries this week came from Alex, who caught the Colts defence napping at the scrum and found a gap before sprinting half the length of the field to score under the posts and Albie, who rounded off the scoring in the fourth quarter, with a rampaging run to score under the posts after some great lead up play by Finny. The Tigers meet Gymea next week before taking on the Crocs in the Grand Final.

Well done to all Tigers teams this week, there were some great performances, fantastic tries, drama and lot's of smiles. Next week is the final round of matches for the 2020 season and then it's the Grand Finals. Thanks to everyone for sharing your photos and enjoy the gallery below.
