Join The Tigers in 2021

Updated: Feb 27, 2021

2021 is shaping up to be an exciting year at the Yarrawarrah Tigers Football Club.

We have a solid platform with a stable committee, structure and sponsors and our player registrations are on the increase, as people search for a family club, with positive values and a friendly culture. If you are still undecided about which club to join in 2021, here is a run down of what's happening at the Tigers this year.

Tiger Cubs Program

We know it can be difficult transporting younger siblings from one sporting activity to another and wouldn't it be great if your club offered a Kindy program, so all the kids could play together. Well the Tiger Cubs could be the answer. Running over 10 weeks, the Cubs Program is a new initiative working with children 3-5years of age. Tiger Cubs is a fun and active program that encourages kids to be physically active with an emphasis on gross motor skills and movement. We do this within a fun and positive environment and many of the activities have been adapted to suit from regular footy training sessions.

Tigers Junior Teams

Junior teams cover U6, U7 and U8 age groups and we have had a fantastic response this year, with our highest number of registrations in many years. The football in this age group is fun, fast and furious, with try after try being scored every few seconds. The Tigers offer a great foundation for junior players as their first experience is in a positive, supportive and fun environment, that gives them the confidence to build skills and try new things.

Girls, Girls, Girls

This year the number of girls who have registered to play with the Tigers is at an all time high. We have high numbers across all our junior teams and new Cubs Program and we are delighted to have so many skilled, talented and enthusiastic girls within the club. We are committed to increasing the number of girls playing and coaching in our club and we have a positive culture that encourages this.

Senior Footy

We have good numbers in our U11, U12, U13 and U14 teams and we are hoping to further develop these players and teams to go on with their football in later years. The team spirit and camaraderie in these age groups is something special and no one can replace your footy mates once you get in with a good crowd and good club.

As a club we offer an environment that is inclusive, friendly and positive. We are a small club that promotes and gets behind all teams and provides a fun, encouraging and supportive playing culture for all players.

Why not give the Tigers a go in 2021-You won't be disappointed.
