4 Weeks to Go!

We hope you are enjoying your long weekend.

We are 4 weeks out from season kick-off and preparations are being finalised in readiness for the first game. It has felt like a long pre-season, but we are close to the May kick-off and very much looking forward, to finally seeing the Tigers teams take the park and strut their stuff.

We have some club updates to share with you around training nights, pre-season games, squad lists and finalising coach, trainer and manager roles.

Further to the games listed below, we also have games for all teams on Saturday 17 April which the JRL are organising. We have not received confirmation yet on who or where we will be playing, but we will update you as soon as we hear.

All teams are back at Yarrawarrah Oval for training. Training nights are as follows;

  • Tuesday Nights U14 and U12

  • Wednesday Nights Cubs, U6, U7 and U11

  • Thursday Nights U14 and U17

Please check in with your Team Manager or WhatsApp Group to get the latest updates.

Our first pre-season games take place on 10 April against the Cronulla-Caringbah Sharks. The fixtures and kick-off times are listed left and the Sharks will provide a good workout for our teams and it will be good pointer to what we have to do in the remaining pre-season to get ready for the competition proper. Please arrive 30-40 mins before kick-off and report into your team manager.

Our final pre-season games take place on 24 April against the Menai Roosters with the Tigers U14's team taking on the Taren Point Titans. The fixtures and kick-off times are listed left and this will be a great final workout before the season kicks-off the following week. Please arrive 30-40 mins before kick-off and report into your team manager.

We still have some positions left to fill on our teams, the U6 teams need an additional coach and manager and the U11 teams require a manager. If you are interested in taking on a role please register for the Tigers at www.playrugbyleague.com and please ensure you have a current WWC check and Coach's certificate.

The player profiles have proved popular and if you would like to get a Tiger Player profile for your son or daughter please send a photo (in Tigers gear) and the answers to the questions to john.kelly@qualityhealthcare.com.au

We will also be doing similar profiles for coach's and managers and if you would like to get involved, just let John the Club Secretary know.

We are still missing player photos and proof of age documents for a number of players. It is essential that all players have a passport style photo and a birth certificate or passport showing DOB uploaded on the MySideline site. You can either upload a saved file or use your devices camera to take one. If you are experiencing problems in uploading documents, speak to your Team Manager

Please help us by finalising your registration photos and proof of age and if you are a coach, trainer or manager supplying your WWC check number and the required coaching certificates.

We look forward to seeing all teams run out at Yarrawarrah Oval on 10 April-See you there.
