Last season we received a number of enquiries from families about the possibility of running a Cubs Program to enable children under 5 to get involved and play footy.

We are pleased to share that in season 2021 we have decided to offer a Cubs Program for children aged 3-5 if there is sufficient community interest. We envisage the program running between 6-8 weeks and will provide an opportunity to play a game that is fun, friendly, with no physical contact.

We will nominate a coach that will run the program and apart from the chance of a weekly game we will also offer skills training as well as the opportunity to make new friends in a fun, football themed environment. We are yet to work out all the details but we envisage the program being based at Yarrawarrah Oval, at a set time each week. We want the program to coincide with junior games, so the little kids can get to sample the game day atmosphere and watch their older sister or brother play for the Tigers later in the day.
